Job Overview
This role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within FedEx’s regional supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights to optimize logistics networks, ensuring compliance with international standards while supporting FedEx’s mission of reliable, time-definite delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain vulnerabilities and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor global and regional logistics disruptions (e.g., political, environmental, or economic factors)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement contingency plans
- Produce detailed risk assessment reports and actionable recommendations
- Ensure adherence to FedEx’s safety, compliance, and sustainability protocols
Required Skills
- Proficiency in supply chain risk assessment tools and software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics frameworks
- Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
- Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., CSCP, CRISC) preferred
Experience
- 3-5 years in supply chain risk analysis or logistics operations
- Proven experience in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
Salary
UGX 3,000,000 – UGX 4,500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
