Job Overview

We are seeking a highly disciplined and skilled Commercial Pilot to join our flight operations team. This role is critical to our mission of providing safe and efficient air travel across regional and international routes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of aircraft, ensuring the comfort and safety of all passengers and crew members. This is a high-responsibility role that requires precision, quick decision-making, and a deep understanding of aviation protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Execute safe and efficient flight operations in accordance with airline and regulatory standards.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections of the aircraft and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with air traffic control and ground crew.
• Monitor aircraft systems and respond appropriately to any technical anomalies.
• Ensure compliance with all Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) regulations.
• Maintain accurate flight logs and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cabin crew to ensure passenger safety and comfort.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in aircraft navigation and flight control systems.
• Exceptional situational awareness and decision-making under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for crew coordination.
• Deep knowledge of meteorology and its impact on flight paths.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Education

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution. A valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with appropriate type ratings is mandatory.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of flying experience in a commercial environment is required. Proven experience in multi-engine aircraft is highly preferred to meet our operational needs.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 15,000,000 SSP to 25,000,000 SSP, depending on experience and specific type ratings held.
