Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Project Finance Analyst to join our team in Mbarara, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating renewable energy projects to determine their financial viability and potential for return on investment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, as well as experience in the renewable energy sector. They will be able to analyze complex financial data and make informed recommendations to senior management.
The Renewable Energy Project Finance Analyst will work closely with our project development team to identify and evaluate new project opportunities, and will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial models and reports to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate renewable energy projects to determine their financial viability and potential for return on investment
- Prepare and present financial models and reports to stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate new project opportunities
- Work closely with the project development team to develop and implement project plans
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on renewable energy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field from a recognized university
