Job Overview
As a Supply Chain Innovation Manager at Maersk Uganda, you will be responsible for:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative supply chain solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize supply chain improvement opportunities
- Design and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve delivery times
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Provide training and support to internal teams on supply chain best practices and innovative solutions
Required Skills
- Strong background in supply chain management, with a focus on innovation and process improvement
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, including ERP systems and transportation management systems
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
Experience
8-12 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on innovation and process improvement
Salary
5,000,000 – 7,000,000 SSP per annum
