The Retail Operations Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing store performance, inventory management, and customer service metrics at the Ntungamo location. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze daily sales, stock levels, and customer traffic data to uncover trends and recommend actionable improvements.
- Develop and maintain dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sell‑through rates, shrinkage, and labor productivity.
- Collaborate with store managers, procurement, and merchandising teams to align inventory replenishment with demand forecasts.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis of operational issues, including out‑of‑stock events and checkout bottlenecks.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for senior leadership, highlighting successes and areas for growth.
- Support the implementation of new POS technologies and data collection tools to enhance real‑time visibility.
- Participate in store audits and mystery shopper programs to assess compliance with brand standards.
- Assist in the design and execution of promotional campaigns, ensuring optimal product placement and pricing strategies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Strong quantitative and problem‑solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills to convey insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Understanding of retail operations, supply chain fundamentals, and customer behavior patterns.
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline is required. Relevant certifications in data analytics or supply chain management are advantageous.
Experience
Applicants should have 3‑5 years of experience in retail analytics, operations analysis, or a similar role within a fast‑moving consumer goods environment. Experience in a multi‑store or regional setting is preferred.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 3,500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses may be awarded annually.
