Job Overview

The Digital Content Production Manager will lead the end‑to‑end creation, editing, and distribution of digital video, audio, and interactive assets for NBS Television’s online channels. Reporting to the Head of Digital Strategy, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team of producers, editors, graphic designers, and social media specialists. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital content strategy that supports NBS Television’s brand objectives and audience growth targets.
  • Lead the planning, production, and post‑production of video series, podcasts, short‑form clips, and interactive features for web and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and sales teams to ensure content aligns with cross‑functional campaigns and revenue initiatives.
  • Manage the content calendar, allocating resources and setting deadlines to meet publishing schedules.
  • Oversee quality control processes, ensuring all digital assets meet technical standards and brand guidelines.
  • Analyze performance metrics, audience insights, and SEO data to continuously refine content approaches.
  • Mentor and develop junior production staff, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and platform algorithm changes to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong understanding of digital distribution channels, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Excellent storytelling ability with a keen eye for visual composition and audio quality.
  • Project management expertise, capable of juggling multiple productions simultaneously.
  • Data‑driven mindset with experience using analytics tools like Google Analytics, YouTube Studio, and social media insights.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to inspire cross‑functional teams.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for video and audio content.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to fast‑changing media environments.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Film Production, Media Studies, or a related discipline is required. Relevant certifications in digital media production, project management, or analytics are considered an advantage.

Experience

Minimum of five years of hands‑on experience in digital content creation and management, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Proven track record of delivering successful digital campaigns and growing online audiences is essential.

Salary

The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from UGX 3,000,000 to UGX 5,000,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the compensation package.
