I am Ayesigye Solomon, a bachelor-prepared Registered Nurse who graduated in October 2024 and completed my professional medical internship program at Luwero General Hospital from August 2025 through July 2026. During my tenure, I also served in formal leadership roles as the Intern Nurse’s Leader and a hospital representative. Prior to my internship, I worked as a home bedside nurse at Ahems Health Services Center.
In addition to my clinical nursing background, I am skilled in utilizing professional desktop software and database applications for clinical documentation and data management, and I completed technical courses under the RETI program as well as specialized professional health education through the HEPI-TUITAH program. I am multilingual, being fluent in English, Luganda, and Runyankole, with Runyankole as my native language.

Between 2021 and 2024, I studied at Bishop Stuart University in Mbarara, where I pursued my Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNS) degree. I graduated with a CGPA of 3.6 and was officially admitted to the degree on October 25, 2024, under Certificate No: 0025381. Alongside my rigorous academic coursework, I actively contributed to the university community by serving as a Fellowship Organizer from 2021 to 2022.
Work & Experience
Between August 2025 and July 31, 2026, I served as the Intern Nurse at Luwero General Hospital under the Ministry of Health. In this role, I combined comprehensive clinical care across acute medical-surgical, pediatric, and emergency units with active leadership and administrative coordination of the intern nursing team. I utilized systematic nursing care plans and structured communication protocols to manage high patient volumes efficiently, while also serving as the primary operational liaison to hospital administration, managing duty schedules, and ensuring strict compliance with institutional clinical and safety standards.
Between March 2025 and June 2025, I worked as a Bedside Nurse at Amehs Medicare Centre Clinic in Katukuru. In this role, I delivered compassionate, direct clinical bedside nursing care, monitored vital signs, administered prescribed medications, managed schedules of treatment, and coordinated clinical reviews. Additionally, I assisted patients with essential activities of daily living, supported pressure ulcer prevention, dressed wounds, and maintained clean and safe patient environments to ensure optimum safety and comfort.
