Responsibilities Undertake structural analysis and design, and where necessary draughting documentation for the following structure/element types: o Self-supporting lattice towers, monopoles towers, guyed towers and pole mounts o Foundation and/or anchorage systems o Host structures for telecommunication infrastructure (frames, slabs, decks, grillages etc) o Other structures required for civil works either on or surrounding telecom sites Prepare or review and approve engineering reports, specifications, notes and schedules. Prepare Bills of Quantities Carry out research and develop tools, processes and systems to improve efficiency and ensure methods used are up to date Develop creative structural solutions to address ad hoc situations.

Responsibilities •Manage the tower infrastructure life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities and where necessary decommissioning and replacement. •Provide cost estimates for tower maintenance and retrofit projects to aid in financial analysis and proforma budget approval. •Manage tower retrofit, maintenance and replacement projects including budgetary control from inception through to completion of the project as well as purchase order creation, financial tracking and billing as per the contract and company guidelines. •Maintain detailed knowledge of service contracts for projects in all assigned areas so as to guide the legal team in any litigation or arbitration proceedings. •Determine the applicable site design parameters to help determine the numbers of each class of tower to be purchased for yearly roll out. •Conduct structural reviews for built structures based on applicable design parameters for the locations where they are deployed. •Work with the asset management and field supervision teams on internal and external tasks such as forensic engineering investigations, construction inspections, as well as obtaining of engineering approvals and technical discussions with regulatory authorities. •Assist engineering services teams in other operations when they experience work overloads. •Perform structural design and/or assessment of telecommunication structures and prepared relevant documentation for steel lattice towers, monopoles, rooftop poles and antenna wall mounts, anchorages and foundations. •Undertake design reviews and certification of structural upgrades for telecommunication structures. •Carry out due diligence to assess the quality of tower portfolios that American Tower is interested in purchasing either in new markets or as an expansion in existing markets. •Assist in the design and implementation of software programs to enable on real-time updating of tower site information by field supervisors present on site at the time and have the latest information synced to the company servers •Create site hardening designs to enhance security by making vandalism and theft of onsite components difficult. Managerial Roles: •Create a high performing team environment enabling engineering services team members to reach their full potential and maximize personal and business performance, through coordination between different operations, and experience sharing. •Facilitate and manage the rotation of engineering services team members between different country operations to aid in their development, foster camaraderie and motivate them. •Identified and resolved issues within the team that are detrimental to effectiveness and productivity. •On board, train and develop new team members so as to smoothly integrate them with the team and equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to be productive.

Responsibilities •Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to act as a guide for the construction and field supervision teams during projects. •Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. •Create quality control documentation, maintain an updated construction/operation issues log issues and update the site information in regard to the resolution of any identified issues. •Oversee the testing and inspection of construction materials. •Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as inspectors and regulatory agencies, to ensure project compliance. •Monitor construction processes to identify potential quality issues and provide solutions promptly. •Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. •Implement quality improvement initiatives such as review of company guidelines, standards and specifications together with the construction contractor teams, to ensure that all provisions are clearly understood and foster an appreciation for the targeted project performance goals. •Conduct risk assessments related to quality and safety on construction sites, ensuring all contractors clearly understand ATC’s health and safety policies. •Manage quality audits and follow up on audit findings for telecom sites. •Ensure all construction projects meet industry standards and regulations. •Drive a culture of continuous quality improvement by ensuring that the organization stays updated on industry best practices and quality standards. •Manage the field supervision and quality assurance teams.

Responsibilities •Perform structural design and/or assessment of towers monopoles pole mounts and the associated foundations and anchorages. •Undertake sanity checks and prepared relevant models for lattice towers, monopoles, in the analysis/ design software’s central database. •Undertake design reviews and certification of structural upgrades for telecommunication structures •Generate design solutions and complete structure design capacity enhancement calculation reports for towers •Identify potential risks within the site design and survey findings and manage them out of the process as early as possible. •Prepare risk assessment reports and a safe design risk register for each site, so as to clearly indicate which towers have reached their design capacity usage and are not to be marketed unless strengthening them is budgeted for. •Prepare work method statements to ensure that contractors met the structural design objectives and deliver project documentation such as bills of quantities, modification and as built drawings in a timely and efficient manner •Coordinate with contractor and fabricator teams in preparation of detailed design and fabrication and working drawings. •Streamline client briefs to facilitate quick response to incoming requests. •When needed act as an extra resource for American Tower’s engineering services teams in other operations during times of heavy output demand

Responsibilities •Develop drawing templates based on the clients’ brief, specifications and other relevant data. •Prepare assembly instructions and layout drawings notes as per customer specifications •Work in conjunction with the project management and construction teams to resolve engineering and implementation issues noted on the site documentation. •Supervise all stages of the production of site, fabrication and working drawings. •Ensure that the draughting team meets deadlines and output standards as per client brief •Ensure that requirements as per construction regulations, policies and directives of the building authority as well as engineering standards are reflected on the drawings •Manage draughting team training, workflows and resources •Chair weekly workflow progress meetings between the team and clients to keep them up to date •Maintain delivery forecasts and reports.

Responsibilities •Monitor the construction works, including inspection of construction activities, testing of materials and prequalification of material suppliers. •Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards •Enforce safety regulations, building code requirements, and conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or violations. •Manage and resolve issues raised by stakeholders involved in the projects such as building authorities and property owners. •Maintain accurate records of progress, costs, and quality control measures. •Update project maps to ensure the latest information is available to all stakeholders •Identify and address any issues or problems that arise during the construction process •Analysis of telecommunication towers to ensure that their load carrying capacity is not exceeded

Responsibilities •Inspect of buildings to assess their structural integrity for roof top sites. •Preparation of telecom site construction plans as per projects team guidance. •Developing proposed component design ideas into working drawings. •Conduct structural analysis for telecom towers. •Ensure that materials tests reports are carried out as per the project requirement. •Conduct non destructive tests on finished works. •Provide technical engineering advice to contractors. •Assist in obtaining planning, right of way and building regulation approvals.

Key Duties: •Perform structural designs for reinforced concrete buildings. •Conduct scheduled inspections at ongoing construction worksites •Collate inspection feedback and prepared work progress reports including images and videos as required. •Review design briefs and reports to ensure that they addressed client and stakeholder requirements. •Prepare project documentation including reports, drawings, specifications, design review checklists and bar bending schedules. •Witness and record results of quality control checks (such as concrete slump test, sampling of cubes, crushing of cubes, spacing/number/size and cover of reinforcement, batching of concrete etc.). •Perform post construction inspections to ensure that the constructed works were of the required quality.
