Job Overview
Lake Victoria International School is seeking a dedicated Teacher with 3–5 years of classroom experience to join its academic faculty in Entebbe. The ideal candidate will inspire students through innovative teaching methods, promote a positive learning environment, and uphold high educational standards.
Teachers will collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, assess student progress, and implement effective instructional strategies to enhance learning outcomes. This position emphasizes student engagement, critical thinking, and the development of a well-rounded curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons across subjects.
Develop interactive lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment tools.
Conduct regular student evaluations, assignments, and exams.
Provide academic support and guidance to enhance student learning outcomes.
Maintain classroom discipline and create safe, inclusive learning environments.
Integrate digital education tools and technology in lesson delivery.
Participate in school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and behavior.
Contribute to curriculum planning and school improvement initiatives.
Promote holistic education by engaging students in co-curricular programs.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant subject specialization.
3–5 years teaching experience in primary or secondary schools.
Knowledge of modern teaching methods, assessment strategies, and classroom management.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to innovative learning approaches.
Salary & Benefits
Annual Salary: Approximately UGX 12,000,000 – UGX 18,000,000 per year
