Job Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified and safety-oriented Aviation Fuel Operations Supervisor to oversee our aviation fueling operations at Entebbe International Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely receiving, storage, and delivery of aviation fuel to various airline partners. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily aviation fuel receiving, storage, and into-plane fueling operations at the airport depot.
  • Ensure absolute compliance with Joint Inspection Group standards and international aviation safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality control tests on aviation turbine fuel and aviation gasoline.
  • Manage and mentor a team of aviation refueling operators, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with airline representatives, airport authorities, and ground handling agents to ensure timely flight departures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, fuel reconciliation reports, and operational logs.
  • Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs for refueling equipment, dispensers, and storage tanks.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of aviation fuel handling, quality control procedures, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to health, safety, environment, and quality management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot operational challenges under pressure.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and standard office applications.

Education

A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Logistics, or a closely related technical field is required.

Experience

A minimum of five years of progressive experience in fuel depot operations, with at least two years specifically in aviation fuel handling or into-plane operations.
