Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our technical team in Nebbi. This role is critical to ensuring the operational efficiency and longevity of our heavy machinery fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex hydraulic systems used in earthmoving and mining equipment. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of fluid power systems and mechanical integration.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic tests on hydraulic pumps, valves, and cylinders to identify leaks or pressure drops.
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules on heavy-duty machinery to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Interpret complex technical schematics and hydraulic circuit diagrams to troubleshoot system failures.
- Replace worn components such as hoses, seals, and control valves in the field or in the workshop.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement system upgrades and performance enhancements.
- Maintain detailed service logs and technical reports for all maintenance activities performed.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in hydraulic circuit analysis and fluid power principles.
- Expertise in using specialized diagnostic equipment and pressure testing tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to handle heavy industrial components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical manuals.
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field is mandatory. Professional certification in hydraulic systems or fluid power technology is highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in maintaining heavy machinery hydraulic systems. Previous experience in the mining or large-scale construction industry is essential for success in this role.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 4,500,000 SSP to 7,500,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical certifications. This is a competitive package designed to attract top-tier talent in the engineering sector.
