Job Overview
We are seeking a Digital Forestry Management Specialist to join our team in Kasese, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry conservation efforts in the region.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to our mission to protect the natural world.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry conservation efforts in the region
- Collaborate with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable forest management practices
- Conduct field research and data analysis to inform conservation efforts
- Develop and maintain relationships with local partners and stakeholders
- Provide technical assistance and training to local communities and government agencies
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in forestry conservation or a related field
- Strong technical skills in digital mapping and spatial analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, or related field
