Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Forestry Management Specialist to join our team in Kasese, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry management efforts. This will involve working closely with our team to design and implement digital tools and systems to monitor and manage forest health, as well as to engage with local communities and stakeholders to promote sustainable forest management practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, forestry, or a related field, as well as experience working with digital technologies and tools. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry management efforts
  • Design and implement digital tools and systems to monitor and manage forest health
  • Engage with local communities and stakeholders to promote sustainable forest management practices
  • Work closely with our team to develop and implement digital solutions to support our forestry management efforts
  • Collaborate with local organizations and stakeholders to promote sustainable forest management practices

Required Skills

  • Strong background in environmental science, forestry, or a related field
  • Experience working with digital technologies and tools

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
