Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Innovation Lead to join our team in Mubende, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative supply chain solutions that drive business growth, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. The role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and manufacturing, to identify opportunities for improvement and develop and implement solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in leading innovation projects and implementing process improvements. They will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative supply chain solutions that drive business growth, improve efficiency, and reduce costs
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop and implement solutions
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution of supply chain operations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of supply chain operations and identify areas for improvement

Required Skills

  • Strong background in supply chain management, with experience in leading innovation projects and implementing process improvements
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

Experience

8-12 years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong background in leading innovation projects and implementing process improvements

Salary

1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP per annum
