Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative supply chain strategies that improve cost efficiency, service levels, and sustainability metrics.
• Lead cross‑functional projects integrating advanced analytics, AI, and IoT solutions to enhance demand forecasting and inventory management.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to streamline processes and reduce lead times.
• Implement end‑to‑end visibility tools, ensuring real‑time tracking of goods from suppliers to customers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate actionable insights for senior leadership.

• Champion sustainability projects, including waste reduction, circular economy practices, and carbon footprint minimization.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with proficiency in data‑driven decision making.
• Expertise in supply chain planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle SCM, or similar platforms).

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Experience

The ideal candidate will have 5‑7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably within a multinational consumer goods or fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. Demonstrated experience in leading digital transformation projects, sustainability initiatives, and cross‑functional collaboration is essential. Experience working in emerging markets, particularly in East Africa, will be viewed favorably.
