We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist to join our team in Fort Portal, Uganda.
Job Overview
The Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks in our supply chain operations. This will involve conducting regular risk assessments, developing and implementing risk management strategies, and collaborating with our logistics teams to ensure the smooth execution of our supply chain operations.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain risk management principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks in our supply chain operations
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks
- Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure the smooth execution of supply chain operations
- Monitor and report on supply chain risk management metrics and KPIs
- Provide training and support to logistics teams on supply chain risk management best practices
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of supply chain risk management principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel frequently to various locations
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
