Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist to join our team in Mbale, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks in our supply chain, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing strategies to improve supply chain resilience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, risk management, and logistics. They will be able to analyze complex data, identify trends and patterns, and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess risks in the supply chain, including political, economic, social, and environmental risks
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and improve supply chain resilience
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain solutions
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
Required Skills
- Strong background in supply chain management, risk management, and logistics
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, risk management, or logistics
Salary
