Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry Management Specialist to join our team in Kisoro, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry management efforts. This will involve working closely with our team to design and implement digital tools and platforms that enhance our ability to monitor and manage forest resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry management efforts
- Design and implement digital tools and platforms to enhance forest resource monitoring and management
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement digital strategies for forestry management
- Provide training and support to team members on the use of digital tools and platforms
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for digital innovation in forestry management
Required Skills
- Strong technical skills in digital solutions development and implementation
- Experience with digital tools and platforms for forestry management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in digital solutions development and implementation, with a focus on forestry management
Salary
