We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mining Operations Engineer to join our technical team in Arua. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and performance of heavy mining machinery and processing equipment.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline from a recognized university is mandatory. Professional certification in project management or advanced mining software proficiency is highly desirable.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in large-scale open-pit or underground mining operations. Proven experience in technical design, production optimization, and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams is essential for success in this role.

Salary

The monthly gross salary for this position ranges from 8,500,000 SSP to 12,000,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience and technical expertise. This package is competitive within the Ugandan mining sector.
