Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Engineer to join our team in Fort Portal, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing renewable energy projects, including solar and wind power. The role will involve working closely with our team of engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop renewable energy projects, including solar and wind power
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to identify potential project locations
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with our team of engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure project delivery
- Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in renewable energy project development and implementation
- Strong technical knowledge of solar and wind power technologies
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
