Job Overview

The Construction Project Controls Engineer will lead cost, schedule, and performance monitoring for large‑scale construction projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and corporate standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cash‑flow forecasts, updating them as project conditions evolve.
  • Track project performance against baseline, generating variance reports and corrective action plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field teams to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Implement risk management processes, identifying potential cost and schedule impacts.
  • Support contract administration, change order evaluation, and claim analysis.
  • Provide regular dashboards and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in project control software (Primavera P6, MS Project, CostX).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, EPCM, and FIDIC standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI‑ACP, or a Certified Cost Engineer designation are advantageous and demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.

Experience

Applicants must have at least five years of hands‑on experience in project controls within the construction or infrastructure sector. Experience on large‑scale civil works, commercial buildings, or industrial facilities is highly valued.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 4,000,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
