Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of retail customers, achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Provide tailored financial advice, recommending appropriate banking products and services to meet client objectives.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, reviews, and follow‑ups to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal product teams to launch new offerings and promote digital banking adoption.
  • Monitor client credit risk, ensuring compliance with the bank’s risk policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to senior management.
  • Participate in community outreach programs and financial literacy initiatives to strengthen the bank’s brand presence in Kigumba.

Required Skills

  • Proven sales acumen and a track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a retail banking environment.

  • Fluency in English and at least one local language (e.g., Luganda, Runyoro).

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as Certified Financial Services Counselor (CFSC) or similar qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years of hands‑on experience in retail banking, preferably in relationship management, sales, or customer service roles. Experience with micro‑finance products, SME lending, or digital banking initiatives will be considered a strong asset.

Salary
