Job Overview
The Automotive Service Manager will lead the Jinja service center, overseeing daily operations, ensuring service quality, and driving customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of service technicians, advisors, and support staff to achieve operational targets.
- Ensure all service activities comply with Toyota’s quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental guidelines.
- Monitor service KPIs such as turnaround time, customer satisfaction scores, and warranty claim accuracy.
- Develop and implement service promotions, warranty programs, and customer retention initiatives.
- Coordinate with parts and inventory departments to guarantee availability of genuine Toyota components.
- Prepare and manage service budgets, forecast labor and parts costs, and control expenses.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training workshops for staff.
- Handle escalated customer complaints, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining brand reputation.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align service offerings with market demand.
- Report service performance metrics to regional management and recommend improvement actions.
Required Skills

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) or Toyota Service Technician certification are highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in automotive service management, preferably within a multi‑brand dealership or a high‑volume service center. Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing budgets, and improving service profitability is essential.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 3,000,000 to SSP 5,000,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based incentives and bonuses are also part of the total rewards structure.
