Job Overview
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about transforming waste into resources while advancing eco-friendly business models. The Circular Economy Consultant will design strategies to integrate sustainable practices into SolarNow’s operations, focusing on resource efficiency, waste reduction, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement circular economy frameworks for SolarNow’s solar energy projects.
- Conduct lifecycle assessments of products and services to identify sustainability improvements.
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to promote waste-to-energy initiatives and recycling programs.
- Monitor and report on environmental impact metrics aligned with global sustainability standards.
- Provide training to teams on circular economy principles and their practical application.
Required Skills
- Expertise in circular economy models and sustainable resource management.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating environmental data and proposing solutions.
- Excellent communication abilities to engage cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in project management tools and environmental impact assessment software.
- Fluency in English and local languages (e.g., Runyankore) is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Economics, or Sustainable Development.
- Advanced certification in Circular Economy or Carbon Management is preferred.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting, sustainability strategy, or related fields.
- Proven track record in designing and executing eco-innovation projects in developing economies.
Salary
4,000,000 – 6,000,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and performance.
