Job Overview

The Circular Economy Consultant will design strategies to integrate sustainable practices into SolarNow’s operations, focusing on resource efficiency, waste reduction, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement circular economy frameworks for SolarNow’s solar energy projects.
• Conduct lifecycle assessments of products and services to identify sustainability improvements.
• Collaborate with local stakeholders to promote waste-to-energy initiatives and recycling programs.
• Monitor and report on environmental impact metrics aligned with global sustainability standards.
• Provide training to teams on circular economy principles and their practical application.

Required Skills

• Expertise in circular economy models and sustainable resource management.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating environmental data and proposing solutions.
• Excellent communication abilities to engage cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Proficiency in project management tools and environmental impact assessment software.
• Fluency in English and local languages (e.g., Runyankore) is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Economics, or Sustainable Development.
• Advanced certification in Circular Economy or Carbon Management is preferred.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting, sustainability strategy, or related fields.
• Proven track record in designing and executing eco-innovation projects in developing economies.

Salary

4,000,000 – 6,000,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and performance.
