We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Investment Analyst to join our Jinja office. This role is critical to our investment advisory division, where you will be responsible for evaluating high-value commercial assets, performing complex financial modeling, and providing strategic insights to our diverse client base. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed financial modeling, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) analysis for commercial properties.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends in the Jinja and wider Ugandan real estate sectors.
  • Prepare detailed investment memorandums and feasibility reports for potential acquisitions.
  • Analyze property data, including rental yields, vacancy rates, and capital appreciation trends.
  • Collaborate with the valuation team to ensure accurate asset pricing and risk assessment.
  • Monitor macroeconomic indicators that impact real estate investment viability in East Africa.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate valuation methodologies.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative reasoning abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client presentations.
  • Ability to interpret complex legal and financial documents related to property ownership.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate Management, or a related quantitative field is required. Professional certifications such as CFA or RICS are highly advantageous.

Experience

Candidates must possess between 3 to 5 years of direct experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or commercial real estate advisory. Proven experience in modeling complex cash flows is essential for success in this role.

Salary

The monthly gross salary for this position ranges from 4,500,000 SSP to 7,500,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience and technical expertise.
