Job Overview
The Digital Education Program Coordinator will lead the design and implementation of UNESCO’s digital learning initiatives in Gulu. This role combines education expertise with technology to create scalable solutions for schools, teachers, and students. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Uganda’s educational transformation while working with international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage digital education programs aligned with UNESCO’s global goals.
- Collaborate with local schools to integrate technology into curricula.
- Train educators on digital tools and pedagogical strategies.
- Monitor program impact through data collection and reporting.
- Partner with tech providers to ensure sustainable infrastructure.
Required Skills
- Expertise in educational technology platforms (e.g., LMS, e-learning tools).
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Fluency in both English and local languages (Luo preferred).
- Experience in curriculum development and teacher training.
- Proficiency in data analysis for program evaluation.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Information Technology, or related field.
- Master’s Degree in Digital Education or Public Administration preferred.
Experience
- 3-5 years in educational program management or tech integration.
- Proven experience in East African educational contexts.
Salary
1,200,000 – 1,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience.
