Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Auditor will play a critical role in ensuring that all food products manufactured and distributed within our Arua facility meet the highest international safety and quality standards. This role involves conducting regular inspections, monitoring production processes, and ensuring compliance with both local and international regulatory frameworks. You will be responsible for identifying potential risks, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining meticulous documentation to ensure continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of production lines to ensure adherence to HACCP and ISO standards.
- Monitor raw material quality upon arrival to prevent contamination in the production cycle.
- Perform laboratory testing and sensory evaluations on finished goods.
- Investigate deviations from quality standards and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize processes for maximum efficiency and safety.
- Maintain comprehensive digital and physical records of all quality inspections and audit findings.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) and HACCP principles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex laboratory data.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
- Proficiency in statistical process control and quality management software.
- Strong communication skills for reporting findings to senior management.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline is required. Professional certification in Quality Auditing or ISO standards is highly preferred.
Experience
Candidates must possess between 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance or quality control within a large-scale manufacturing environment. Experience in the food and beverage industry is essential for success in this role.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 4,500,000 SSP to 6,500,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience and technical expertise.
