Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications for MTN’s mobile and enterprise services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to industry best practices and security standards.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend innovations to improve service delivery.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with proven expertise in enterprise-level applications.

Salary

UGX 3,000,000 – UGX 5,000,000 per month, depending on experience and performance.
