As a Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our supply chain, including managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers. You will work closely with our sales team to understand customer needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team in Mbale, Uganda. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, and at least 5-7 years of experience in supply chain operations. You will be responsible for managing a team of supply chain professionals, developing and implementing supply chain strategies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our supply chain, including inventory management, shipment coordination, and delivery of goods to customers.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet customer needs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage a team of supply chain professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

  • Strong background in supply chain management, including inventory management, shipment coordination, and delivery of goods.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage a team of supply chain professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to use supply chain management software and systems.
  • Ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet customer needs and improve operational efficiency.

    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

    At least 5-7 years of experience in supply chain operations, with a strong background in inventory management, shipment coordination, and delivery of goods.

    Salary
