Job Overview
The Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, monitoring existing credit portfolios, and ensuring compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit analysis of corporate, SME, and retail loan proposals using quantitative and qualitative techniques.
- Prepare detailed credit memoranda, risk ratings, and recommendation reports for senior approval committees.
- Monitor the performance of existing credit exposures, identify early warning signals, and recommend remedial actions.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Chartered’s credit policies, Basel III requirements, and local regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure loan terms that balance risk and client needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the bank’s credit risk management system.
- Participate in periodic portfolio reviews and stress‑testing exercises.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of credit risk models and scoring tools.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in financial statement analysis and cash‑flow modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing clear risk reports.

Education

Salary
