Job Overview

The Public Finance Policy Analyst will support the World Bank’s Uganda Country Office in designing, evaluating, and monitoring fiscal policies that promote macro‑economic stability, equitable growth, and effective public service delivery. The incumbent will work closely with government ministries, development partners, and internal research teams to produce rigorous analytical reports, policy briefs, and technical assistance documents. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive fiscal analysis, including revenue forecasting, expenditure tracking, and debt sustainability assessments.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in econometric software (e.g., Stata, R, Python).
