Job Overview

The Automotive Diagnostic Technician will play a critical role in our Arua service center. This position is designed for a highly skilled technician who excels at identifying complex mechanical and electronic faults in modern vehicles. As the automotive industry shifts toward hybrid and highly computerized systems, the role requires a blend of traditional mechanical knowledge and advanced digital diagnostic capabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring that every vehicle leaving our workshop meets the highest safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced computer-based diagnostics to identify faults in electronic control units (ECUs).

• Execute precision repairs on hybrid and fuel-efficient engine components.
• Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate repair estimates and timelines.

• Ensure all workshop equipment and diagnostic tools are calibrated and maintained according to manufacturer standards.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in using computerized diagnostic scanning tools and software.

Education

Candidates must possess a minimum of a Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field from a recognized institution. Certification in specialized electronic diagnostics or hybrid vehicle technology is highly advantageous.

Experience

Salary
