Job Overview
We are seeking a Digital Forestry Management Specialist to join our team in Mityana, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry and land use programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry and land use programs
- Collaborate with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable solutions to environmental challenges
- Conduct field research and data collection to inform digital solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with local partners and stakeholders
- Provide technical support and training to local communities and partners
Required Skills
- Strong technical skills in digital solutions development and implementation
- Experience working with local communities and governments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in digital solutions development and implementation, with a focus on forestry and land use
Salary
5,000,000 – 7,000,000 SSP per annum
