Job Purpose

The Head Mechanic for Heavy Equipment Section will oversee the repair, maintenance, servicing, and operational performance of heavy-duty machinery and hydraulic systems used in manufacturing and industrial operations.

The successful candidate will ensure machinery reliability, minimize downtime, supervise maintenance procedures, and contribute to operational efficiency within the heavy equipment section.

Key Responsibilities / Job Description (JD)

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Heavy Equipment Maintenance

• Oversee repair and maintenance of heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic faults in heavy equipment.
• Ensure machines operate efficiently with minimal downtime.
• Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance schedules.

Equipment Inspection & Diagnostics

• Conduct inspections to detect mechanical failures and equipment wear.
• Identify replacement needs for damaged or faulty components.

Hydraulic & Mechanical Systems Management

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed maintenance records and service logs.

Educational Qualifications
