Job Overview

As a Public Health Informatics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between clinical data and public health policy. This role is essential for those seeking employment in Uganda within the intersection of technology and medicine. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing health information systems that track disease outbreaks, monitor patient outcomes, and optimize resource allocation across public health facilities. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

Education

The successful candidate must hold a Master’s Degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional certifications in data management or health information systems are highly desirable.

Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of professional experience in health informatics, data science, or public health research. Proven experience in implementing digital health solutions in developing countries is a significant advantage for this role.
