Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Renewable Energy Systems Engineer to join our team in Masaka, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing renewable energy systems, including solar and wind power generation, energy storage, and grid integration. The role will involve working closely with our customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand their energy needs and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop renewable energy systems, including solar and wind power generation, energy storage, and grid integration
- Work with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand their energy needs and develop tailored solutions
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the suitability of renewable energy systems for specific locations
- Develop and implement energy efficiency measures to reduce energy consumption and costs
- Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to promote our renewable energy solutions to customers
Required Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of renewable energy systems, including solar and wind power generation, energy storage, and grid integration
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in renewable energy systems design, development, and implementation
Salary: 6,000,000 – 9,000,000 SSP per annum
