Position Overview
The Retail Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day store and administrative operations while ensuring excellent customer service, staff productivity, compliance with company procedures, and achievement of operational objectives.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Area Manager to coordinate teams, improve workflow efficiency, resolve operational challenges, and maintain high service standards across assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities
Team Supervision and Leadership
- Supervise office, retail, and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Monitor employee performance and provide ongoing guidance and support.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and workplace professionalism.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and staff concerns.
Customer Service Management
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure customers receive timely and satisfactory service.
- Guide employees in managing difficult customer situations.
- Monitor service quality and implement improvements where necessary.
- Support customer retention and satisfaction initiatives.
Store and Operations Management
- Oversee daily operational activities within assigned locations.
- Monitor workflow processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure proper organization of office and store operations.
- Verify records, reports, and operational documentation for accuracy.
- Support inventory control and operational compliance activities.
Staff Scheduling and Workforce Coordination
- Prepare work schedules and staff assignments.
- Coordinate employee attendance and shift management.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels during operational hours.
- Monitor punctuality and workplace discipline.
- Assist in workforce planning and resource allocation.
Performance Monitoring
- Review reports and operational records to evaluate performance.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend solutions.
- Conduct performance discussions with employees when necessary.
- Assist in implementing corrective actions and improvement plans.
- Support achievement of departmental and organizational goals.

Educational Requirements
Essential Qualification
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Customer Service, Office Administration, Retail Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Certificate in Administration or Business Operations.
- Additional training in Leadership, Customer Service, Retail Operations, or Team Management is an advantage.
Experience Requirements

- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory, team leader, retail, customer service, or administrative role.
- Experience managing staff and coordinating daily business operations.
- Experience handling customer complaints and service-related matters.
