Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Software Engineering Lead to spearhead our development efforts in the Arua region. This role is critical for our mission to build scalable, high-performance software solutions tailored to the unique needs of the African market. The successful candidate will lead a team of talented engineers, overseeing the entire software development lifecycle from conception to deployment. This position requires a deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software products.

  • Implement rigorous code review processes and automated testing to ensure system reliability.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to manage technical debt while maintaining rapid development cycles.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is mandatory. A Master’s degree in a specialized field like Artificial Intelligence or Distributed Systems is highly preferred.

Experience
