Job Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing end‑to‑end supply chain processes for Uganda Breweries Limited’s northern operations. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will analyze demand patterns, monitor inventory levels, and collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless product flow from raw material sourcing to final delivery. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical sales data and forecast demand for beer and non‑alcoholic beverages in the Moyo region.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels by coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams, reducing stock‑outs and excess inventory.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fill rate, lead time, and inventory turnover.
  • Collaborate with logistics partners to design efficient distribution routes, minimizing transportation costs while meeting service level agreements.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and recommend data‑driven improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are considered a plus and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have 3‑5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, preferably within the beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors. Experience working in a fast‑moving environment and exposure to regional distribution networks in Uganda will be highly valued.

Salary
