Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainable Materials Scientist to join our team in Fort Portal, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable materials solutions that meet the needs of our customers and contribute to a more sustainable future.
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in the field. They will be highly skilled in materials science and engineering, with a strong understanding of sustainable materials and their applications.
The successful candidate will be based in Fort Portal, Uganda and will report to the Head of Research and Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable materials solutions that meet the needs of our customers and contribute to a more sustainable future.
- Conduct research and development in materials science and engineering to identify new sustainable materials and their applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable materials solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal stakeholders on sustainable materials and their applications.
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in materials science and engineering.
- Strong understanding of sustainable materials and their applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering or a related field.
Experience
At least 8 years of experience in materials science and engineering, with a strong understanding of sustainable materials and their applications.
Salary
1500000 – 2500000 SSP per annum.
