Job Overview

This role involves leading the development and implementation of educational technology products designed to enhance learning accessibility and quality in Ugandan schools. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, software developers, and policymakers to create user-centric digital learning tools aligned with national curricula.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage the lifecycle of EdTech products, from concept to market launch.
  • Conduct market research to identify educational technology needs in Ugandan schools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven learning analytics into digital platforms.
  • Partner with local schools to pilot and refine educational software solutions.
  • Monitor user feedback and performance metrics to optimize product functionality.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in product management within the education sector.
  • Strong understanding of Ugandan educational frameworks and challenges.
  • Proficiency in Agile project management methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills.
  • Technical knowledge of LMS (Learning Management Systems) and EdTech tools.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Master’s degree in Education Technology or Business Administration preferred.

Experience

  • 3-5 years in educational technology or product management roles.
  • Experience managing digital learning platforms in African markets.

Salary

UGX 3,000,000 – 4,500,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
