Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Fashion Designer to join our team in Mbale, Uganda. As a Sustainable Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing sustainable fashion products that meet our brand’s high standards. You will work closely with our design team to create innovative and stylish designs that are both environmentally friendly and commercially viable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop sustainable fashion products that meet our brand’s high standards
- Collaborate with our design team to create innovative and stylish designs
- Conduct research on sustainable materials and technologies to inform design decisions
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure high-quality products
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in sustainable fashion
Required Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in fashion design or a related field
- Strong knowledge of sustainable materials and technologies
- Excellent design skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Strong communication and project management skills
