Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive digital experiences (VR/AR) for virtual wildlife tours.
- Collaborate with tourism stakeholders to integrate digital solutions into visitor engagement strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in digital tourism.
- Optimize user experience for mobile and web-based platforms.
- Produce high-quality digital content for social media and virtual exhibitions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, VR/AR development tools (Unity, Unreal Engine).
- Strong understanding of tourism marketing and audience engagement.
- Excellent project management and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating digital tourism or creative tech projects.
- Fluency in English and basic knowledge of local Ugandan languages.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Tourism Management, or related field.
- Advanced certifications in immersive technology or digital design (optional but advantageous).
Experience
- 3-5 years in digital tourism, creative tech, or multimedia design.
- Proven track record in delivering digital projects for tourism or cultural sectors.
Salary
3,000,000 – 5,000,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and portfolio impact.
