We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Mbale, Uganda. The successful candidate will work closely with our conservation team to develop and implement sustainable development projects that promote environmental conservation and community development.

Job Overview

Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Consultant

Location: Mbale, Uganda

Reports to: Conservation Program Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Duration: 2 years

Salary: 4,000,000 – 6,000,000 SSP per annum

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sustainable development projects that promote environmental conservation and community development
  • Work closely with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to develop and implement conservation projects
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for sustainable development and conservation
  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans to track project progress and impact
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement conservation projects

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in environmental sustainability and conservation
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainable development projects
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

Education

Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field

Experience

8-12 years of experience in environmental sustainability and conservation

Salary
