We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Forestry Management Specialist to join our team in Kabale, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry management programs in Uganda.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry management programs in Uganda
- Collaborate with local communities, governments, and businesses to develop and implement sustainable solutions to environmental challenges
- Conduct field assessments and monitoring to evaluate the effectiveness of digital solutions
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including local communities, governments, and businesses
- Provide technical assistance and training to local communities and stakeholders on digital forestry management practices
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in digital forestry management or a related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing digital solutions to support forestry management programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with local communities, governments, and businesses
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
