We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Forestry Management Specialist to join our team in Kasese, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry and land use programs in the region.
Job Overview
As a Digital Forestry Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our conservation efforts in Uganda. You will work closely with our forestry and land use team to develop and implement digital solutions that promote sustainable forest management and conservation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing digital solutions to support forestry and land use programs
- Collaborating with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote sustainable forest management
- Conducting field research and data collection to inform digital solutions
- Providing technical support and training to local communities and stakeholders on digital tools and technologies

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in digital solutions development and implementation, with a focus on forestry and land use
Salary
