Job Overview

The E-commerce Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operational processes that ensure successful product delivery and customer satisfaction. This role is critical in managing the lifecycle of orders, from the moment a customer clicks ‘buy’ to the final doorstep delivery. Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize last-mile delivery processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics partners to maintain high service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery speed, cost per order, and return rates.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse management team to ensure inventory accuracy and efficient picking/packing.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement scalable technological or procedural solutions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of operations coordinators and supervisors to achieve operational excellence.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting using Excel or BI tools.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in process optimization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce logistics and last-mile delivery models.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required. An MBA or professional certification in Six Sigma or Lean Management is highly preferred.

Experience

Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the e-commerce, retail, or logistics sectors. Proven track record of managing large-scale logistics networks and leading diverse teams is essential. Salary
