Our data center operations team is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, which provide cloud services to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Operations Manager to join our team.
Job Overview
The Data Center Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our data centers, ensuring that they are running efficiently and effectively. This includes managing the data center infrastructure, monitoring performance, and implementing improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in data center operations, with experience in managing large-scale data centers. They will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data center, ensuring that it is running efficiently and effectively.
- Manage the data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and networking.
- Monitor performance metrics, such as power consumption, cooling efficiency, and network latency.
- Implement improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve data center goals and objectives.
Required Skills
- Strong background in data center operations, with experience in managing large-scale data centers.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data center performance metrics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience
8-12 years of experience in data center operations, with a strong background in managing large-scale data centers.
Salary
2,500,000 – 3,500,000 SSP per annum.
