Job Overview

Deloitte Uganda seeks a dynamic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program Manager to lead the design and implementation of community engagement initiatives in Mukono. This role will align with Deloitte’s global mission to advance inclusive growth and environmental sustainability while supporting Uganda’s socio-economic development goals. The position offers opportunities to collaborate with NGOs, government agencies, and local communities to drive transformative projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute CSR strategies that align with Deloitte’s sustainability goals and Ugandan national priorities.
  • Coordinate partnerships with NGOs, government bodies, and community leaders to identify high-impact projects.
  • Monitor and evaluate CSR program outcomes using data-driven metrics to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Design educational workshops and training programs to empower underserved communities.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders and external partners on CSR initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in CSR program management, with a focus on community development or environmental sustainability.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, timeline planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) for impact assessment.
  • Fluency in both English and local languages (e.g., Luganda) is an advantage.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Studies, Public Policy, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSR Specialist, Sustainability Leadership) preferred.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in CSR, corporate philanthropy, or community development roles.
  • Track record of successfully managing cross-sector partnerships.

Salary

50,000 – 70,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and performance.
