Job Overview

The Curriculum Development Specialist will lead the design, development, and evaluation of academic programmes across multiple faculties. Working closely with faculty members, department heads, and external stakeholders, you will ensure that curricula are contemporary, competency‑based, and aligned with national accreditation standards. The role involves conducting needs assessments, integrating technology‑enhanced learning, and promoting inclusive pedagogy. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive curriculum audits and gap analyses to identify improvement areas.
  • Design and develop course outlines, learning outcomes, assessment strategies, and instructional materials.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to embed industry‑relevant competencies and emerging trends.
  • Integrate digital learning tools, e‑learning platforms, and blended learning approaches.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) guidelines and international accreditation standards.
  • Facilitate faculty workshops on curriculum design, instructional strategies, and assessment best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness through data‑driven metrics and student feedback.
  • Prepare detailed curriculum documentation, reports, and accreditation submissions.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in curriculum design, instructional design, and educational technology.

  • Proficiency in learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas) and multimedia authoring tools.

Education

A Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Studies, Instructional Design, or a closely related field is required. Experience

Applicants must possess a minimum of five years of proven experience in curriculum development within tertiary education, vocational training, or comparable settings. Prior exposure to international accreditation processes (e.g., AACSB, ABET) will be considered an advantage.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 4,000,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary reviews are conducted annually based on performance and market benchmarks.
